Gambaran Karakteristik Kejang Demam Pada Rumah Sakit Pendidikan Di Medan
Abstract
Kejang demam merupakan tipe kejang yang mencapai 2-5% dari keseluruhan penyebab kejang. Penting diketahui faktor faktor yang mempengaruhi kejadian kejang demam, etiologi dan tatalaksana. Mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kejadian kejang demam berdasarkan karakteristik klinis anak di 5 rumah sakit pendidikan di Medan. Penelitian deskriptif terhadap variabel kasus kejang demam dalam satu tahun di 5 rumah sakit pendidikan di medan. Terdapat 727 kasus dengan usia terbanyak < 5 tahun, usia pertama kali kejang pada > 1 tahun, bentuk kejang umum, dan merupakan kejang demam berulang. Kasus kejang demam kompleks lebih sedikit, terjadi pada usia > 1 tahun, bentuk kejang umum, tidak status epileptikus dan tanpa kelainan neurologi. Etiologi terbanyak oleh virus dengan penyakit infeksi saluran napas. Kejang demam kompleks bukan merupakan kasus yang sering terjadi, mengenai usia > 1 tahun, merupakan kejang demam berulang, etiologi demam paling banyak oleh virus dengan penyakit infeksi saluran napas.
