PENGARUH PERATURAN GEMPA 2012 TERHADAP VOLUMETRIK TULANGAN PAKAI PADA GEDUNG DENGAN DINDING GESER DI KOTA BANDA ACEH
Many big earthquakes hit Indonesia region, which have caused the damages of buildings and killed many peoples. Therefore Indonesia has an earthquake resistance design code for the building structures SNI 03-1726-2002, which have been used widely, and the new seismic code for buildings SNI 1726:2012. This final project aims to compare the volume of reinforcement in building designed according SNI 03-1726-2002 and SNI 1726:2012. The equivalent static analysis and response spectrum analysis by refering SNI 03-1726-2002 and SNI 1726:2012 are conducted in this study. Two models are employed, which are the 3 floors moment resisting frame building system and 6-storey building with a dual system (the moment resisting frame and shear wall system). In the comparison of SNI 03-1726-2002 and SNI 1726:2012, the results indicates that the reinforcement volume in the building would increase significantly. In average, the increment of reinforcement volume achieves 65% for the beam and 75% for the column due to the increase of base shear force on the building. In addition, the displacement of building is surely increased as well due to this base shear force increment.
