PERENCANAAN GEOMETRIK RAMP PADA JUNCTION DAN INTERCHANGE JALAN TOL MEDAN – KUALANAMU – TEBING TINGGI (SEKSI 3 DAN 4B)

Abstract


Medan toll road-Kualanamu-Tebing Tinggi along the 61.8 km is one of the programs of North Sumatra as part of a plan to build the Trans Sumatra. The highway has 7 interchange are: Tanjung Morawa, Kualanamu, Parbarakan, Lubuk Pakam, Perbaungan, Teluk Mengkudu, and Sei Rampah and have strategic significance to develop road infrastructure network development. In the writing of this final project selected the location on the region 1 i.e. section 3 and 4B. There are 3 sections on the junction Parbarakan, whereas in section 4B there is interchange with the form a trumpet interchange Parbaungan with a combination of direct ramp, semi-direct ramp and loop ramp. From the geometric planning have been one ramp to represent 4 ramp located at junction 1 and 1 the interchange. This geometric planning involves planning the road alignment, horizontal and vertical alignment. For horizontal alignment, type of curve used in desain interchange is that twists FC, SS, SCS and vertical alignment is vertical convex and concave.
