The success or failure of a government in organizing, managing and developing a country is shown by the rate of economic growth. However, many factors, both local and global, influence this. After experiencing a decline during the 1998 crisis, the Indonesian economy is now estimated to be starting to stabilize. At that time, economic growth was negative and inflation had soared to 80%. This research aims to analyze the influence of investment, exports, government spending and labor both simultaneously and partially in Indonesia during the 2001-2021 period. This research uses secondary data in the form of time series data for the period 2001-2021 in Indonesia. The analysis method used is Ordinary Least Square (OLS). The research results show that export and labor variables have a significant effect on economic growth, while investment and government spending have no effect on economic growth in Indonesia during the 2001-2021 period.Estu Handika DewaMaulidyah Indira Hasmarini

Corruption has emerged as a serious issue that has long captured attention in Indonesia. Despite numerous efforts to address corruption, the problem persists and affects various aspects of life in the country, notably in the economic sector. Within the economic domain, corruption exerts a substantial impact on Indonesia's economy. Funds that should be allocated for development and community welfare are often misused or embezzled, thereby impeding economic growth and development. The aim of this study is to examine the impact of corruption, domestic investment, and public expenditure on economic growth. The data employed in this research is time series data covering the period from 2012 to 2022. The data, of a secondary nature, is collected from various sources, such as the website of the Transparency International Foundation and the Central Statistics Agency. The findings of this research reveal that domestic investment (PMDN) and government expenditure (G) during the specified period have a positive and significant influence on economic growth (PE). This study aims to analyze comparatively inflation and economic stability between the Islamic perspective and the conventional perspective. This study also compares the inflation rate in countries that apply an interest system and without interest. This research is descriptive qualitative with library research method. The results show that inflation has occurred since the time of the Prophet Muhammad and continues to repeat itself. In an Islamic perspective, prices should be balanced, because money is a medium of exchange and a unit of account. However, economic conditions become unstable because of the difference between supply and demand and the difference in the amount of money with the amount of goods and services. To maintain economic balance, Islam applies the principles of profit sharing, buying and selling, and renting so that the interest system is not involved in the economy. Islamic scholars and economists continue to conduct research to find ways to overcome inflation in order to achieve economic stability, including implementing Islamic fiscal and monetary policies. Countries that apply the interest system in fact experience higher inflation than countries that do not apply the interest system.Anriza Witi NasutionM. Shabri Abd. Majid

This empirical article intends to examine the nexus between rapid urbanization, economic growth, and deforestation in Indonesia by employing annual data from 1980 – 2015, as well as incorporating investment, agriculture, and population factors. he ARDL Bounds-testing was employed with the aims of estimating the dynamic parameters and the presence of cointegration. In the short-run, the results denote that deforestation is generated by per capita GDP growth, FDI, and population growth. However, in the long run, all the variables used, including rapid urbanization and per capita GDP growth are validated to have a positive and significant influence on net deforestation at a 1% confidence level. The results confirm that per capita GDP growth and urbanization are the drivers of deforestation, in line with the theory of the “underlying causes” of forest cover change. Robust integration of urban and national development policies, agricultural intensification, green investment, and improved forest governance is urgently needed to reduce the rate of deforestation.Mohamad Egi Destiartono

One of the MSMEs in Kampar Regency is Sampurna Micro Enterprises. This micro business is a pineapple chips business engaged in snacks. This study aims to analyze the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges using the SWOT Matrix and determine what strategies can be applied to Sampurna Micro Enterprises in Kampar Regency. Data analysis was performed using SWOT analysis. Based on the research results, it was found that the main strengths of Sampurna Micro Enterprises were adequate manpower, adequate availability of raw materials, selling new products, and good and friendly service. The main weaknesses are lack of creativity in terms of product innovation (monotonous), simple means of production, limited business capital, low quality of human resources for both business actors and workforce, not yet having distributors. The main opportunities are government support and attention, the level of availability of labor in the surrounding area, being one of the traditional foods and regional characteristics, purchasing power of consumers who tend to be consumptive, increasing population growth, and the main threat is product competition from neighboring villages and sub-districts. there are many pineapple chips with new innovations, unpredictable consumer tastes, weakening raw material suppliers, competitors selling food products at lower prices. There are five alternative strategies found, namely: two S-O strategies, two S-T strategies, one W-O strategy, and one W-T strategy. The main strategy alternatives found are the S-O strategy, namely by using wider distributor channels and the presence of other flavor variants, and the S-T strategy, which is to improve product quality and provide friendly and comfortable service.Fitri AuliaHenny IndrawatiHardisem Syabrus

MSMEs are one of the companies that play an important role in Indonesia's efforts to reduce unemployment and poverty. However, during the COVID-19 epidemic, MSMEs faced difficulties and various problems, including lower output, difficult distribution, limited capital, sales, raw material supply, workforce reduction or layoffs, and so on. As a result, many MSMEs and consumers have decided to interact digitally rather than in person. Many MSMEs that rely on offline sales have had to close down due to decreased income due to fewer sales. Developing MSMEs is the best way to overcome the problems they face. Due to their growth amidst intense competition and globalization, MSMEs must be able to face various obstacles in order to compete in the digital economy where more and more MSMEs are going digital. Because, MSMEs that grow and develop are MSMEs that have been integrated into the digital ecosystem. The aim of this research is to find out how digital MSMEs are developed in Indonesia and whether they can be used as a means of saving the country's economy from downturn. This research uses a qualitative approach using library research or often called a literature review study.
