Jurnal Akuntansi dan Keuangan Kontemporer (JAKK) is published by the Master of Accounting Postgraduate Program at Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara. JAKK welcomes articles based on research findings, literature reviews, and conceptual studies within the scope of financial accounting, management accounting, sharia accounting, public sector accounting, auditing, accounting information systems, taxation, and micro and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

Published biannually in March and September, the articles featured in JAKK are the sole responsibility of the authors. The editorial board reserves the right to make edits for clarity and consistency without altering the substantive content of the papers. JAKK is accredited in SINTA (Science and Technology Index) at grade 4 by Ministry of Research, Technology & Higher Education of The Republic Indonesia.
