Abstract

Abstract A lawn mower is a tool used to cut grass or plants. This tool is usually used to tidy up the garden and also to clear the land of weeds or similar grass that can harm many people, both in residential areas and in field areas. Lawn mowing is done to create comfort and a beautiful sight to behold. Lawn mowers tend to still use fuel oil which we know that the fuel cannot be renewed, so that over time it will run out. For this reason, other fuels are needed to anticipate the exhaustion of the fuel oil. The method in this study was carried out quantitatively. Where quantitative data is data expressed in the form of numbers and tables to produce data or information obtained. In the test results it was found that in low light solar panels can get a voltage of up to 9.8V. Meanwhile, in bright light with maximum absorption, solar panels can emit up to 14.8 at their peak. The current that enters the load from the SCC is found to be at a value of 12.6V. Charging the battery takes quite a long time due to changes in weather that occur for charging. Solar panels can supply power to the load and are assisted by the power supplied by the battery to stabilize the output of the power generated by solar panels and batteries. The resulting motor speed can cut the grass well.
