Enlightening Muhammadiyah Education Impementation In The Flagship Elementary School 'Aisyiyah Rejang Lebong Bengkulu

Abstract


The da'wah and tajdid movements carried out by Muhammadiyah include education which is a path of change to realize Islam as a guide for the progress of the ummah. So many business charities established by Muhammadiyah, the field of education is quite developed, because since the beginning of its establishment, Muhammadiyah makes education as a form of the nation's struggle. The purpose of this research is to describe how the implementation of advanced education in SDUA Rejang Lebong Bengkulu province and how school standards excel at SDUA Aisyiyah Rejang Lebong. One of the flagship schools owned by Muhammadiyah in this case Aisyiyah as one of the autonomous organizations is the Aisyiyah Excellent Elementary School (SDUA) in Rejang Lebong Bengkulu Province. The type of research used is qualitative research with descriptive research design. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviewing and documentation. The results of this study showed that Aisyiyah Rejang Lebong Excellent Elementary School was able to become a pioneer of da'wah and tajdid, among which were carried out through education in a way of change to realize an enlightening advanced Islam. SDUA Aisyiyah Rejang Lebong has superior standards not only in the academic field but also evidenced by the achievements achieved in the field of philanthropy, human resource development and achievements in extracurricular activities.
