Prohibition For The Community Of Bukit Selamat Village, Simpang Kanan District In Implementing Islamic Religious Events During The Covid-19 Pandemic

Abstract


The Covid-19 pandemic has had a major impact on social life in society, so that there are restrictions on social life. The prohibition set by the government is aimed at preventing and overcoming the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. These prohibitions have an impact on the absence of religious events, especially Islamic events for the Muslim community. In this study, what will be highlighted is how the criteria for forms of prohibition are not allowed to carry out Islamic religious events in Bukit Selamat Village, Simpang Kanan District during the Covid-19 pandemic and how the ban policy will continue after the pandemic. The purpose of this study is to find out the forms of government prohibitions in limiting activities for the community in carrying out Islamic religious events and to find out local government policies related to these prohibitions after the pandemic period. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The findings in this study indicate that during the pandemic there were no events, such as commemorating religious days, especially the Islamic religion, in Bukit Selamat Village, Simpang Kanan District during the Covid-19 pandemic in the last two years.
