Transformation Of Dakwah Islamic Communication Strategy Pasca Pandemic Covid-19

Abstract


Dakwah is a way for Muslims to convey, teach and invite people to know Islam which is Amar Ma'ruf Nahi Munkar in accordance in the Qur'an and As-Sunnah. Dakwah is usually carried out directly at recitation activities, dakwah seminars and tabligh akbar, but such dakwah strategies had to be stopped due to the massive spread of the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia. This situation finally changed the communication strategy of Muslims in preaching, resulting in a transformation of dakwah communication strategies. This research discusses the transformations that occurred in the communication strategy of Islamic dakwah after the Covid-19 pandemic with descriptive qualitative methods and data collection through library studies such as literature, books and journals.

Based on the results of the research, there were changes in the dakwah communication strategy during the COVID-19 pandemic. The obvious change is in the medium. During the Covid-19 pandemic, Muslims carried out da'wah activities through digital media such as zoom meetings, Facebook social media, Instagram to YouTube channels. New habits continue to be carried out during 2019 until now, so that there is a transformation in preaching, namely from offline to online and from traditional to modern. Most of the transformations that occur during a pandemic will become ongoing habits after the COVID-19 pandemic is over.
