The Influence Of Da'wah Through Online Media During A Pandemic

Abstract


This research was motivated by the presence of the covid-19 outbreak, which caused the number of activities and activities to be limited. In dealing with this pandemic period, the government issued regulations to keep a distance from other people, stay at home, and not create crowds. The emergence of a pandemic has made several religious activities that were carried out gathered together in a place such as da'wah, now can be carried out remotely and from one another their respective homes through online media. Online media (online media) is a medium or communication channel that is presented online on an internet website. All types of communication channels on the internet or can only be accessed with an internet connection. For this reason, it is necessary to study some of the impacts that occur in preaching activities in the midst of a pandemic, which aims to find out whether with many obstacles, preaching activities can still be carried out or not. To achieve this, in this study used qualitative-descriptive research methods with library research techniques. The results of this study obtained data and the fact that there are many problems in preaching in a pandemic situation like this, but the data shows that the problems that occur do not become a problem. barrier in the existence of da'wah in the midst of the covid-19 pandemic.
