PERAN ORANG TUA DAN GURU DALAM PENCEGAHAN BULLYING DI LINGKUNGAN SEKOLAH ANAK USIA DINI

Abstract


Teachers and parents with young children in early childhood education have a responsibility to actively participate in the prevention of bullying. Occasionally, parents inadvertently contribute to the perpetration of bullying against their own children. This phenomenon becomes apparent when parents engage in a process of evaluating the benefits and merits of other individuals' offspring in relation to their own offspring. Bullying is a prevalent occurrence in the social milieu around children, including their family, neighbourhood, and school settings. It may even begin as early as kindergarten or its equivalent. The used methodology is a literature review. The examination of literature is a fundamental component of the scientific process. Parents have a crucial role in mitigating bullying throughout early childhood by engaging in effective parenting, fostering strong relationships with their children, maintaining open lines of communication with  their  children,  and  actively  communicating  with  schools.  The teacher, acting as a demonstrator, serves as a role model for pupils in their behaviour, speech, and interactions with the environment, encouraging the development of constructive habits. The findings of the study are as follows. Parents have a crucial role in reducing bullying behaviour by offering direction to their children inside the home environment. Offering encouragement and imparting knowledge on both positive and negative actions.  Parents  endeavour  to  steer  their  children  by  means  of  their  own offspring inside the household and surrounding milieu. They provide youngsters with exemplars, impart counsel, and instill education via domestic routines and customs.
