THE INFLUENCE OF ISLAMIC RELIGIOUS EDUCATION ON THE FORMATION OF ADOLESCENT MORALS IN THE SCHOOL ENVIRONMENT OF STATE SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL 1 SIDIKALANG
Abstract
Islamic Religious Education in Schools, especially State Senior High School 1 Sidikalang, is an effort that is carried out in a planned and deliberate manner to prepare students to be able to understand, believe in and practice the teachings of Islam so that they can form noble morals in students. With the existence of Islamic Religious Education, human morals or behavior can be controlled and directed properly in accordance with the teachings of Islam, so that it can create teenagers who have good morals and broad insight. This study applies a qualitative descriptive approach method. The findings of this study can be shown that the formation of morals of students or teenagers of SAM Negeri 1 Sidikalang has not been maximized because there are still several obstacles, namely the influence of the external environment, such as the influence of the social environment, family environment and learning methods that are too serious, causing some students to quickly feel bored and become less understanding.
