PERAN MEDIA SOSIAL DALAM PENYEBARAN PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM DI KALANGAN GENERASI MUDA

Abstract


Media sosial telah menjadi bagian penting dalam kehidupan generasi muda, termasuk dalam bidang pendidikan agama Islam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran media sosial dalam penyebaran pendidikan agama Islam, khususnya di kalangan generasi muda. Dalam penelitian ini, digunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif untuk mengeksplorasi keunggulan dan tantangan penggunaan media sosial sebagai sarana pembelajaran agama Islam. Hal utama yang ditemukan adalah media sosial dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa melalui platform interaktif seperti YouTube, Instagram, dan Facebook, yang memungkinkan penyebaran konten yang menarik dan relevan. Namun, tantangan utama adalah penyebaran informasi yang tidak akurat, yang dapat mempengaruhi pemahaman agama siswa. Oleh karena itu, penting untuk mengedukasi siswa tentang etika digital dan literasi media untuk dapat membedakan informasi yang benar dan salah. Kesimpulannya, dengan pengelolaan yang tepat, media sosial dapat menjadi alat yang efektif untuk mendukung pendidikan agama Islam di era digital ini, meskipun tetap memerlukan perhatian terhadap akurasi konten dan etika dalam penggunaannya.
