THE INVOLVEMENT OF YOUTH IN ISLAMIC DA'WAH: BUILDING THE CHARACTER OF YOUTH WITH RESPONSIBILITY AND INTEGRITY

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of youth in Islamic da'wah as a means to build responsible and integrous character. Youth play a strategic role in da'wah, especially in shaping a generation with strong moral values. Through da'wah activities such as religious teaching, social programs, and community activities, youth are taught moderate Islamic values such as honesty, care for others, and a sense of responsibility. This research also identifies the challenges faced by youth in da'wah, including modernization, differing viewpoints, and the influence of social media. The qualitative research method with a literature review approach is used to examine Islamic da'wah, the role of youth, and the concept of responsible character. The findings show that youth involvement in da'wah creates space for the development of positive character in education, social, and religious aspects. Youth who are active in da'wah demonstrate increased discipline, responsibility, and integrity in line with Islamic teachings. In conclusion, Islamic da'wah is not only a means of spreading religion but also a platform for building youth character with integrity. Active youth participation in da'wah is key to creating a responsible and highly competitive generation.
