Abstract

This article discusses the role of Islamic education in addressing the challenges and opportunities presented by the digital era. With the rapid advancement of technology, access to information has increased, allowing students to explore Islamic resources online. However, challenges such as misinformation and diminished quality of interaction between educators and students have also emerged. The importance of digital literacy and the integration of contemporary issues, such as social media ethics and financial literacy, are emphasized to prepare students for the complexities of modern life. By adopting a balanced approach that embraces technology while upholding Islamic values, Islamic education can create a dynamic learning environment that fosters character development and equips future generations to thrive.
