Dina Aulia, Muhammad Rafi'i

Abstract

The way Muslims acquire and disseminate Islamic teachings has undergone significant changes as a result of the advancement of modern technology. This study examines the opportunities and difficulties associated with incorporating digital technology into modern Islamic education and da'wah. This study's qualitative methodology, thorough examination of numerous literary sources, and observations of digital platforms demonstrate how the digital revolution has expanded access to Islamic education and produced fresh approaches to da'wah delivery. The usage of social media, smartphone applications, and online learning platforms are just a few of the developments in Islamic digital content development that are highlighted in this study. The findings demonstrate that although there are many advantages to digitization, there are also major obstacles to be addressed, including the need for improved digital literacy among Muslims, the digital gap, and content validity. This study also highlights how crucial it is to strike a balance between upholding traditional Islamic principles and utilizing contemporary technologies for education and da'wah. Important conclusions show that cooperation between educators, technologists, and religious experts is necessary for digital transformation to be successful in the Islamic setting.
