Abstract


Science learning is expected to be a vehicle for students to learn about themselves and the natural surroundings, as well as prospects for further development. It is hoped that the learning process will emphasize providing direct experience to develop competencies to explore and understand the natural surroundings scientifically. Then learning outcomes are the abilities students gain after carrying out these learning activities. This is where the presence of methods occupies an important position in conveying learning material. The experimental method is a teaching method in which the application of the material uses an experimental process related to something by observing the process. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that the use of experimental methods in science learning has an influence on the learning outcomes of class IV students at SDN 064968 Medan because learning uses the experimental method, the material is delivered more interestingly for students, namely inviting students to carry out experiments directly on the material being discussed. has been conveyed, namely the Magnetic Force.
