Jurnal Administrasi Publik dan Kebijakan (JAPK)  is a scientific journal published by Public Administration Science Study  Program, Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara . It is at the national level that covers lot of common problems or issues related to the public administration sciences. The aim of this journal publication is to disseminate the conceptual thoughts or ideas and research results that have been achieved in the area of public administrations and policies.

The purpose of this journal is to publish and disseminate writings in the field of social sciences and humanities that can contribute to the development of science. JAPK is published twice a year in Juny and December.

Articles published on research results and literature review with acceptable research methodologies, qualitative studies, quantitative studies, or a combination of both, statistical analysis, case studies, field research, and historical studies. JAPK received manuscripts from various related circles, such as relevant researchers, professors, students, policy-makers, scientists and others.
