Al-Multazim: Jurnal Manajemen Bisnis Syariah focuses on publishing articles related to theoretical studies, research results, and applied studies in the fields of Islamic Economics, Islamic Business Management, and Islamic Finance.

Peer Review Process

Al-Multazim: Jurnal Manajemen Bisnis Syariah implement each accepted manuscript will go through a review process by the Editor and reviewers, using a Double blind Peer-Review Process, which the reviewer does not know the identity of the author, and the author did not know the identity of the reviewer.

Al-Multazim: Jurnal Manajemen Bisnis Syariah implement policies Double Blind Peer-Review, every manuscript received will be sent to Reviewers who registered in Al-Multazim: Jurnal Manajemen Bisnis Syariah. The review process lasts a maximum of up to 30 (thirty) days with the allocation of time given to each reviewer to complete its review process is a maximum of ten (10) working days. If the partners designated bestari previously not able to finish his review work within the time limit specified then chairman of the Chairman of Editorial Board will appoint a replacement to do a review Reviewers manuscript.

In the review process, reviewers provide considerations relating to compatibility between the title, abstract, introduction, discussion (results) and conclusion. In addition reviewer also give consideration associated with novelty, scientific impact and references used

Review Process:

1. Author submit the manuscript
2. Editor Evaluation [some manuscripts are rejected or returned before the review process]
3. Double-blind peer review process
4. Editor Decision (Acceptend Submission, Revisions Required, Resubmit For Review, Decline Submission)
5. Confirmation to the authors

Final decision of articles acceptance will be made by Editors according to reviewers comments. Publication of accepted articles including the sequence of published articles will be made by Editor in Chief by considering sequence of accepted date and geographical distribution of authors.

EDITORIAL PROCESS

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Plagiarism Screening

Al-Multazim: Jurnal Manajemen Bisnis Syariah state that plagiarism is not acceptable for all author and therefore establishes the following policy stating specific actions (penalties) when plagiarism is identified by plagiarism cheker software in an article that is submitted for publication. We are using Turnitin as the plagiarism checker software.

“Plagiarism is copying another person’s text or ideas and passing the copied material as your own work. You must both delineate (i.e., separate and identify) the copied text from your text and give credit to (i.e., cite the source) the source of the copied text to avoid accusations of plagiarism. Plagiarism is considered fraud and has potentially harsh consequences including loss of job, loss of reputation, and the assignation of reduced or failing grade in a course."

This definition of plagiarism applies for copied text and ideas:

Regardless of the source of the copied text or idea.
Regardless of whether the author(s) of the text or idea which you have copied actually copied that text or idea from another source.
Regardless of whether or not the authorship of the text or idea which you copy is known
Regardless of the nature of your text (journal paper/article, web page, book chapter, paper submitted for a college course, etc) into which you copy the text or idea
Regardless of whether or not the author of the source of the copied material gives permission for the material to be copied; and
Regardless of whether you are or are not the author of the source of the copied text or idea (self-plagiarism).

When plagiarism is identified by the Plagiarism Checker software, the Editorial Board responsible for the review of this paper and will agree on measures according to the extent of plagiarism detected in the article in agreement with the following guidelines:

Minor Plagiarism

A small sentence or short paragraph of another manuscript is plagiarized without any significant data or idea taken from the other papers or publications.

Punishment: A warning is given to the authors and a request to change the manuscript and properly cite the original sources.

Intermediate Plagiarism

A significant data, paragraph, or sentence of an article is plagiarized without proper citation to the original source.

Punishment: The submitted article is automatic rejected.

Severe Plagiarism

A large portion of an article is plagiarized that involves many aspects such as reproducing original results (data, formulation, equation, law, statement, etc.), ideas, and methods presented in other publications.

Punishment: The paper is automatic rejected and the authors are forbidden to submit further articles to the journal.

Retraction

The articles published in Al-Multazim: Jurnal Manajemen Bisnis Syariah will be considered to retract in the publication if:

they have clear evidence that the findings are unreliable, either as a result of misconduct (e.g. data fabrication) or honest error (e.g. miscalculation or experimental error)
the findings have previously been published elsewhere without proper crossreferencing, permission or justification (i.e. cases of redundant publication)
it constitutes plagiarism
it reports unethical research

Publication Ethics

This Publication Ethics is a statement of the scientific code of ethics of the various parties involved in the publication process of Al-Multazim: Journal, consisting of managers, editors, reviewers and authors. The statement in this Scientific Publication Ethics Code essentially upholds three ethical values in publications, namely (i) neutrality, which is free from conflicts of interest in the management of publications; (ii) fairness, which gives authorship rights to those entitled to them; and (iii) honesty, which is free from duplication, fabrication, falsification, and plagiarism in publications.

Publisher's responsibility

Publisher of Al-Multazim: Journal is responsible for publishing manuscripts that have undergone the process of editing, peer review, and layout in accordance with the rules for the publication of scientific journals.
The publisher is responsible for ensuring the academic freedom of editors and reviewers in the performance of their respective duties.
The publisher is responsible for the protection of privacy, intellectual property, copyright and editorial freedom.
Editorial responsibilities

The Editor of Al-Multazim: Manajemen Bisnis Syariah Journal is responsible for deciding which manuscripts are suitable for publication through editorial board meetings that take into account applicable legal requirements regarding libel, copyright infringement, reproduction, data fabrication, data falsification and plagiarism.
In the process of reviewing and accepting manuscripts, the editorial team will apply the principle of equal treatment in deciding whether to publish manuscripts, without distinction as to the race, gender, religion, ethnicity, nationality or political ideology of the author.
The editors and editorial team will not disclose any information about the manuscript or the author without the author's permission.
Unpublished manuscripts will not be used by the editors for their own research and will be returned directly to the authors.
Peer reviewer responsibilities

The reviewers of Al-Mulatzim: Manajemen Bisnis Syariah Journal assist the editors in making editorial decisions about manuscripts.
Reviewers are responsible for the recommendations they make on the manuscripts they review.
Reviews of manuscripts will be objective and supported by clear arguments.
Peer reviewers are responsible for citations, references, duplication, fabrication of data, falsification of data and plagiarism in the manuscripts they review.
Reviewers must always maintain the confidentiality of information and must not use information from the manuscripts they review for personal gain/interest.
Responsibility of the author

Authors must present the manuscript of their thoughts or research clearly, honestly and without duplication, fabrication of data, falsification of data and plagiarism.
The author is responsible for the confirmation submitted on the written manuscript.
The author must indicate the source of opinions and works of others quoted.
Authors must write manuscripts ethically, honestly and responsibly, in accordance with the applicable rules of scientific writing.
The author does not object to the manuscript being edited during the review and layout process without changing the substance or main idea of the paper.

Author Guidelines

Carefully read the submission guidelines as follows:

A. General Requirements

The minimum standard requirements of Al-Multazim: Jurnal Manajemen Bisnis Syariah must be:

Manuscripts written in the Indonesian Language
Writing at least 10 pages long and no more than 20 pages. Editors evaluate if the manuscript more than 20 page
The use of a tool such as Zotero, Mendeley, EndNote or for reference management and formatting, and choose APA (American Psychological Association) Style.
The paper begins with the manuscript title, author name, Author Affiliation, Address followed by an abstract written in italics (Italic) all 150-200 Words.
If Indonesia language manuscript, then the abstract must be written in the language of Indonesia and English language of good and right. If the article United Kingdom, then the language abstract should be written in the language English.

B. Structure of The Manuscript

Introduction. The introduction should contain (structured) general background, the problem, previous literature review (state of art) as the basis of a statement of the scientific novelty of the article, a statement of scientific novelty, and the research problem or hypothesis. At the end of the introduction should be written the purpose of the article studies. In a scientific article, the format is not allowed for the review of the literature as well as in a research report, but expressed in the previous literature review (state of the art) to demonstrate the scientific novelty of the article and can be written development conceptually based on previous research studies.

Method. The method used to solve the problem is written in this section, Methods must be structured, clear and understandable as well as the right to use the method.

Results: Type the findings of scientific research in accordance with the method used. but must be supported by data and facts sufficient. No discussion on the results of research findings, this section describes only the findings of the research results.

Discussion: in this section is not re-write the research findings, but more scientifically reviewing the results of research, not restate data obtained research results. The scientific findings should be described in Science include: Do the scientific findings obtained? Why did it happen? Why such a variable trend? All these questions must be explained scientifically, not merely descriptive, must be supported by scientific phenomena. Furthermore, it should be explained also in comparison with the results of other researchers about the same topic. The results of the research and findings must be able to answer the research hypotheses in the introduction.

Conclusions: Each article closed with the conclusion that summarizes the answers of the hypothesis or research purposes or scientific findings obtained. Conclusions do not contain repetition of results and discussion, but rather to a summary of the findings as expected on purpose or hypothesis. If necessary, at the end of the conclusion can also write things that will be associated with the next idea of the study.

References. All references in the text of the article should be written in the References section. Reference should contain reference libraries derived from primary sources (journals). Scientific Journal of a minimum of 80% of the total bibliography) published last 5 years. Each article contains at least 15 (fifteen) reference was referenced. The format of writing used in the journal Scientific Management & Business is in accordance with the format APA 6th Edition (American Psychological Association).

Writing citations and references using automatic reference management to be more consistent in writing citations and references using reference management application program such as Mendeley, EndNote or Zotero, or other.

Retraction

The papers published in the Al-Multazim: Jurnal Manajemen Bisnis Syariah will be consider to retract in the publication if : They have clear evidence that the findings are unreliable, either as a result of misconduct (e.g. data fabri-cation) or honest error (e.g. miscalculation or experimental error).
