Buletin Farmatera is an open access journal as a scientific journal of Pharmacology Department of medical Faculty of Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara.

• The journal publishes articles in medical sciences generated from basic sciences, clinical, community or public health research and medical education to integrate researches in all aspects of human health. This journal publishes original articles, reviews, and also interesting case reports. Letters and commentaries of our published articles are welcome.
  
• Open Access. All articles is available to the public for free.

Open Access Policy

Buletin Farmatera is an open access journal which provides access to the full text of all published articles without charging the readers or their institutions for access. Readers have right to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of all articles in Buletin Farmatera.

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Publication Ethics

Publication Ethics

Jurnal Buletin Farmatera follows the guidelines set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE-) in all matters related to public ethics, in particular, the research and publication error protocol. Jurnal Buletin Farmatera adapts COPE to meet high ethical standards aimed at
editors, writers, and reviewers. The publisher has no right to interfere with the integrity of the content of the writing and is only responsible for publication periodically and on time.

For Editors

1. The Editor is responsible for each manuscript published in Jurnal Buletin Farmatera.
2. The Editor of Hasus ensures that the author follows the procedures/rules of writing in Jurnal Buletin Farmatera
3. The Editor can communicate with Journal Managers, other Editors and Peer Reviewers in making the Final Decision.
4. The Editor must provide an objective evaluation of the manuscript regardless of aspects of nationality, ethnicity, political affiliation, ethnicity, nation, religion, gender, seniority, or institutional affiliation of the author.
5. Editors should decline assignments when there is a possibility of a conflict of interest.
6. The editor must ensure that the manuscript sent to the reviewer does not contain information about the author, and vice versa.
7. The editor's decision must be submitted to the author accompanied by peer reviewer responses, except for responses that are personal or defamatory.
8. Editors should honour requests from authors who refuse individuals to evaluate their manuscripts as long as the reasons are acceptable.
9. If the Editor finds or suspects misconduct. writing and authorship conflict, editors can follow the guidelines in the COPE flow chart to overcome authorship conflicts.
10. The editor and all staff must ensure the confidentiality of all manuscripts submitted.

For Peer Reviewers

1. Mitra Bestari is asked to provide possible comments in the research manuscript if suspected of finding errors in writing procedures, publication ethics and publishing
2. Peer Reviewers are expected to complete the work on time and provide information to the
3. Editor if unable to meet the specified deadline.
4. Mitra Bestari must be able to maintain the confidentiality of the author's manuscript.
5. Mitra Reviewer may not accept manuscripts for assessment, if there is a potential conflict of interest or competitive, collaborative, or other relationships with any author, company, or institution.
6. Peer Reviewers must ask for the Editor's consideration/attention for similarities in substance or overlap between the manuscript under consideration and other publication papers that have others that have similar authors.
7. Privileged information or ideas obtained through peer review should be kept confidential and not used for personal gain.

For Authors

1. The author must be able to ensure that the manuscript/manuscript has never been published before or has never transferred the rights to the article to another party.
2. The author ensures that the manuscript authenticity of his work and follows the rules of citation under the appropriate reference format.
3. The author should not engage in plagiarism or self-plagiarism.
4. The author must follow the procedures/rules for writing Jurnal Buletin Farmatera that have been determined
5. The author does not send manuscripts/manuscripts simultaneously with the same topic and title to other journals.
6. The author must be able to provide information and make details of related research data if the editor finds any allegations of confusion falsification or plagiarism in the manuscript/manuscript. If an author finds errors or inaccuracies that affect the manuscript/manuscript that has been submitted, the author must immediately notify the Editor or Journal manager to immediately withdraw the writing and correct the manuscript/manuscript.
7. The author is not allowed to withdraw the article that is being reviewed by the reviewer before being returned by the reviewer to the Editor.
