LEARNING INNOVATION IN ISLAMIC RELIGIOUS EDUCATION AN ACTIVE LEARNING APPROACH, ‘LEARNING HOW TO BE’

Abstract


Good learning in the 21st century is learning that is able to explain how students should learn and think. education is required to be able to describe, design the learning environment and process in such a way that the way students learn and know can be manifested in active, collaborative, independent (self-regulated) and self-directed learning activities. The role of teachers is very important in empowering students' thinking abilities. The learning process in schools is now less foster students' creativity, especially in the learning of Islamic Education. Learning has been performed with Full Class and more centered on the teacher (teacher centured approaches) that deliver the learning methods of students just listen, memorize, writing, and learning activities are dominated by teachers so that the learning environment seemed stiff and tense. Al-Muslimin Pandan with all his efforts bore solution by presenting a more humane education, which is an education that takes into account all the potential intelligence of students with learning fun concept. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods, which describe and explain symptoms or certain facts based on the circumstances rielnya. The research was conducted in the junior Al-Muslimin Pandan.
