THE INFLUENCE OF TECHNOLOGY ON LABOR USE: THE IMPACT OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

Abstract


We can no longer avoid technological advances. Technology is now increasingly evenly distributed and present in various aspects of life, including in the field of education, so humans must follow this trend of development. In the 21st century education era, technology has become an essential element. New innovations continue to emerge to support the teaching and learning process, as one of the impacts of the rapid development of technology. Many influences have been created from this technological advance. The current digital era is experiencing rapid technological advancements. The application of digital technology can be adjusted to human needs, making manual labor more efficient and relevant. The reduction of direct interaction, the use of machines to replace human tasks in certain fields are some of the impacts of the development of digital technology. Labor productivity is one of the key indicators in assessing the success of economic development. The high productivity of the workforce indicates that a country is able to produce a larger output with the same amount of inputs. This contributes to improving people's welfare and economic competitiveness. Technology is one of the factors that affect labor productivity. With technology, efficiency and effectiveness in the production process can be improved, allowing for the achievement of greater output with the same input. In addition, technology also allows the creation of new products and services that add value to the economy
