The Role of Indonesian Language in Student Character Education in Elementary School

Abstract


The aim of this research is to determine the role of Indonesian language learning in character education for students in elementary school. This research is a literature study with theoretical data sources about the role of Indonesian in instilling character values in students in elementary schools. Source The data used in the research was mostly taken from scientific journals. Based on the research results that can be In conclusion, Indonesian has a role in character education for students. In the Learning Indonesian contains character values in the form of an independent attitude, national spirit, Responsible and disciplined. Apart from that, Indonesian is used as a communication tool in everyday life will foster good language speech. Through Indonesian, teachers can assess usage good language for students. This can create and implement character education for students students to make everyone a good person.
