Improvement Of Advice Pantun Writing Skills Through The Tps Model Supported By The Pantun Board At SD Islam Cahaya Ilmu

Abstract

This study aims to improve advice pantun writing skills through the Think, Pair, Share (TPS) cooperative learning model assisted by the Pantun Board media in grade V students of SD Islam Cahaya Ilmu. This study uses the Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) method which is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of the stages of planning, implementation of actions, observation, and reflection. The subject of the study is a grade V student of SD Islam Cahaya Ilmu. The data collection technique is carried out through tests and observations. The data from the test results was analyzed in a quantitative descriptive manner by calculating the average score and percentage of learning completeness. The results of the study showed an improvement in the skill of writing advice pantun from Cycle I to Cycle II. In Cycle I, an average score of 70.00 was obtained with 8 students or 32% achieving a score of ≥75. In Cycle II, the average score increased to 79.20 with 19 students or 76% achieving a score of ≥75. The average score increased by 9.20 points. These results show that the application of the Think, Pair, Share model assisted by the Pantun Board media can support the improvement of students' skills in writing advice pantun.
