Transformation of Deep Learning Model Based on Mindful, Meaningful, and Joyful Learning in Elementary Education : Systematic Literature Review

Abstract

The transformation of learning in basic education requires a paradigm shift from learning oriented toward mastery of material to learning that encourages understanding, awareness, meaningfulness, involvement, and holistic learning experiences for students. The research uses a holistic approach. This qualitative study used the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method . The literature was obtained from various relevant scientific sources and analyzed based on the focus of deep learning, mindful learning, meaningful learning, and joyful learning in the context of elementary education. The results of the study indicate that mindful learning plays a role in building students' awareness, attention, reflection, and self-regulation; meaningful learning provides contextual learning experiences by connecting knowledge with real-life experiences; while joyful learning supports motivation, engagement, creativity, and a positive learning atmosphere. However, its implementation still faces challenges in the form of teacher readiness, limited time and learning resources, and the need for assessment adjustments. This study concludes that the transformation of the deep learning model based on mindful, meaningful, and joyful learning can be a pedagogical framework for realizing elementary education learning that is conscious, meaningful, enjoyable, and oriented towards the complete development of students
