Focus and Scope

English Teaching and Linguistics Journal (ETLiJ) is an open access, peer-reviewed and online journal which is published biannually in January and July by English Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training Education, Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara (UMSU). The scopes of the journal conceptually concerned in all aspects about English Language Teaching, learning, language education, linguistics practices (e.g., morphology, semantics, second language acquisition, psycholinguistics) and applied linguistics issues.

English Teaching and Linguistics Journal (ETLiJ) aims to encourages submissions of unpublished articles topics (original) that are highly relevant and contribute significantly to the TEFL and linguistics and it also to provide informed-discussion media with relevance issues. Any visitor to this site can read the contents and download the PDF files.

Peer Review Process

The author must upload the article to the web site journal for entering metadata and the acknowledgment of receipt will be announced to all Authors through email after one to two weeks of submission. The review process will take about A month to two months. Articles accepted with minor or major revisions should be revised as the reviewers’ comments and suggestions. The article would be automatically rejected if not ethically followed the rules

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
