Peer Review Process

Editorial and Peer Review Policy

All manuscripts submitted to Jurnal Implementa Husada (JIH) must comply with the journal’s focus and scope as well as its author guidelines. Submitted papers must present a scientific contribution or novelty relevant to the journal’s scope. Every manuscript must be free from plagiarism, and authors are strongly encouraged to check their papers using reliable plagiarism detection software prior to submission.

The editorial team routinely screens all manuscripts for plagiarism using Turnitin software to ensure academic integrity.

Peer Review Process

All research articles submitted to this journal undergo a peer-review process conducted by at least one qualified reviewer. Reviewers provide constructive and scholarly feedback to help authors improve the quality, clarity, and academic contribution of their manuscripts.

The final decision on article acceptance is made by the Editor, taking into account the reviewer’s comments and recommendations. The Chief Editor determines the publication order and issue placement based on the date of acceptance, geographical diversity of authors, and thematic balance of each issue.

Types of Editorial Decisions

During the peer review process, four types of editorial decisions may be made:

  1. Decline Submission
After peer review, the manuscript is deemed unsuitable for publication in Jurnal Implementa Husada. Resubmission is not encouraged.

  2. Resubmit for Review
The submitted version requires substantial revision and is not acceptable in its current form, but it shows potential for publication. Authors are invited to submit a thoroughly revised version as a new submission.
The revised manuscript will be reassessed by the editors to ensure alignment with the scope and standards of Jurnal Implementa Husada, and may undergo another round of peer review.

  3. Revision Required
The manuscript requires improvement before a final decision can be made. Authors are requested to revise their paper based on reviewer and editor feedback and to resubmit the revised version within two (2) weeks after receiving the decision letter.
A detailed point-by-point response explaining how each comment was addressed must accompany the revised manuscript. The revision may undergo further review and could involve more than one round of revision.
Failure to submit the revised version may result in rejection of the manuscript.

  4. Accept Submission
The manuscript is accepted for publication in its final form. Minor editorial adjustments may still be required to ensure full compliance with journal formatting standards. After final editorial checks, the paper will be prepared for publication.

Galley Proof

The final galley proof will be sent to the corresponding author for final inspection prior to publication. Corrections should be limited to minor typographical or formatting errors. Substantive changes to content or structure are not permitted at this stage.

Authors must return the corrected proof within three (3) days after receipt to avoid publication delays.

The Editorial Board assumes no responsibility for the accuracy of published content; it is the authors’ sole responsibility to ensure the correctness and integrity of their work before final publication.
