Pengaruh Budaya Literasi Terhadap Minat dan Kemampuan Membaca: Studi Penelitian Campuran

Abstract


Minat dan kemampuan membaca siswa sekolah dasar dinilai masih sangat rendah, terkhusus keterampilan dalam memahami bacaan. Ini menunjukkan bahwa proses pendidikan di sekolah dasar belum efektif dapat mengembangkan kompetensi dan minat peserta didik terhadap pengetahuan. Oleh karena itu, gerakan literasi sekolah dinilai sangat penting untuk diimplementasikan di sekolah sebagai cara dan upaya menumbuhkan minat dan kemampuan membaca siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis implementasi program literasi sekolah dan dampaknya terhadap minat dan kemampuan membaca siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif dengan alat pengumpulan data wawancara, angket dan tes keterampilan membaca yang diberikan kepada siswa sekolah dasar sebagai responden penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukan implementasi gerakan literasi sekolah memberikan pengaruh terhadap minat dan kemampuan membaca siswa sekolah dasar.
