Copyright and Licensing for the Alhisab: Journal of Islamic Astronomy (CC-BY-NC)
1. Copyright
The Alhisab: Journal of Islamic Astronomy (referred to as "the Authors") holds the copyright for all articles and content published in the journal, unless otherwise stated.
2. Licensing Terms
The Alhisab: Journal of Islamic Astronomy applies the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial (CC-BY-NC) license to all published articles. Under this license:
a. Authors' Rights: Authors retain the copyright of their work while granting the Journal the exclusive right to first publication.
b. Open Access: All articles published in the Journal are freely and openly accessible to the public, promoting the dissemination of knowledge and research.
c. Reuse and Distribution: Readers are allowed to copy, distribute, remix, adapt, and build upon the work for non-commercial purposes, provided proper attribution is given to the original work and the Journal.
3. Attribution Requirements
When reusing or distributing content from the Journal under the CC-BY-NC license, the following attribution requirements must be met:
