Abstract


Penelitian ini berjudul Kajian tentang Urgensi dan Manfaat Pendidikan Damai di Politeknik Pelayaran Malahayati. Kajian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif-analitis dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik pengamatan, kajian literatur, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan beberapa poin penting yaitu Urgensi Pendidikan damai dapatĀ  ditinjau dari realitas bahwa adanya potensi terjadinya konflik antar Taruna/I Politeknik Pelayaran Malahayati. Kebermanfaatan dari penerapan Pendidikan damai di Politeknik Pelayaran Malahayati sebagai Lembaga Pendidikan maritim, dapat ditinjau dari sistem Pendidikan yang dibangun berbasis Asrama dan Kampus serta kajian profesi yang menuntut adanya keselarasan dan implementasi nilai kedamaian dalam mendukung capaian professional kepelautan
