Pancasila di Persimpangan Jalan: Menelaah Relevansi Nilai-Nilai Pancasila dalam Kehidupan Sekolah bagi Gen-Z
Abstract
Abstract: This study aims to examine the relevance of Pancasila values in school life for Generation Z amidst the development of digital technology and globalization. The study used a qualitative approach with a literature study method sourced from scientific journals, books, and relevant documents related to Pancasila, Generation Z, character education, and citizenship. Data were analyzed using content analysis techniques through the processes of identification, classification, interpretation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that Pancasila values remain relevant in shaping three dimensions of Generation Z citizenship: civic knowledge, civic dispositions, and civic skills. In the cognitive dimension, Pancasila serves as a foundation for understanding national identity and responding critically to information. In the affective dimension, Pancasila plays a role in shaping tolerant, empathetic, and responsible characters. In the behavioral dimension, Pancasila values are realized through mutual cooperation, deliberation, and social participation in the school environment. Thus, Pancasila remains an important foundation in shaping young citizens with character and responsibility in the digital era.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelaah relevansi nilai-nilai Pancasila dalam kehidupan sekolah bagi Generasi Z di tengah perkembangan teknologi digital dan arus globalisasi. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi literatur yang bersumber dari jurnal ilmiah, buku, dan dokumen relevan yang berkaitan dengan Pancasila, Generasi Z, pendidikan karakter, dan kewarganegaraan. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis isi melalui proses identifikasi, klasifikasi, interpretasi, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai Pancasila tetap relevan dalam membentuk tiga dimensi kewarganegaraan Generasi Z, yaitu civic knowledge, civic dispositions, dan civic skills. Pada dimensi kognitif, Pancasila menjadi landasan dalam memahami identitas nasional dan menyikapi informasi secara kritis. Pada dimensi afektif, Pancasila berperan dalam membentuk karakter toleran, empatik, dan bertanggung jawab. Pada dimensi perilaku, nilai-nilai Pancasila diwujudkan melalui gotong royong, musyawarah, dan partisipasi sosial di lingkungan sekolah. Dengan demikian, Pancasila tetap menjadi fondasi penting dalam pembentukan warga negara muda yang berkarakter dan bertanggung jawab di era digital.
