The Effect Of Big Book Media On Reading Skills In Uptd Grade III Students SDN 08 Perlabian

Abstract


This study aims to determine the reading skills of grade III students of UPTD SDN 08 Perlabian before and after using Big Book media and to determine the influence of Big Book media on reading skills in grade III students of UPTD SDN 08 Perlabian. This type of research is quantitative research, the sample in this study is 22 students in grade III UPTD SD Negeri 08 Perlabian. The analysis used was an expert validity test, normality test, homogeneity test and paired samples test. Based Based on the results of the research that was processed and analyzed using SPSS 22.0 for windows software, it was shown that the results of the paired samples test (t-test) obtained that the significance value (sig.2-tailed) with the t-test was 0.000, thus the significance value was below 0.05 so that it can be concluded that there is an influence between the use of Big Book media on the reading skills of grade III students of UPTD SD Negeri 08 Perlabian.
