Al-Hisab: Journal of Islamic Astronomy, published by the Observatorium Ilmu Falak Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara (OIF UMSU), Medan, Indonesia, which contains scientific research articles in Islamic Astronomy and other fields. Al-Hisab: Journal of Islamic Astronomy is published four times a year in March, June, September, and December. The main purpose of this publication is to create a platform to publish original articles, research results, case studies, and book reviews related to Islamic Astronomy, Islamic Law, Instrumentation, Observatories, and others. The editorial board welcomes original contributions from authors (in Indonesian, English, and Arabic) that have not been previously published or are being considered for publication in other publications. To enrich Al-Hisab's articles selection, collaboration was carried out with the Islamic Astronomy Department Program of UMSU. Journal submissions must follow the JAH template.

Call for Manuscript 

 

We invite you to submit your manuscript to Al-Hisab: Journal of Islamic Astronomy. The manuscript is published in Four Times a year (March, June, September and December). Manuscripts submission deadlines:

Vol. 2 No.1, 2025, submission deadline: February 14th

Vol. 2 No.2, 2025, submission deadline: May 14th

Vol. 2 No.3, 2025, submission deadline: August 14th

Vol. 2 No.4, 2025, submission deadline: November 14th

 

Al-Hisab: Journal of Islamic Astronomy receives scientific papers from both the result of research and theoretical study on Islamic astronomy theoretical and empirical studies in the Instrumentation fields, General Astronomy, Sensors, manuscripts in Islamic Astronomy, Islamic Law, Instrumentation, and Observatory, that contribute to the advancement of Islamic astronomy and provides benefits to readers around the world. Al-Hisab: Journal of Islamic Astronomy accepts articles in English, form according to each template.
