Abstract

Determining the Qibla direction is a crucial aspect of Islamic worship. One accurate method for determining the Qibla is by using the Istiwa’ain, which utilizez the phenomenon of the sun being directly overhead the ka’bah at specific time of the year. This Phenomenon allows direct observation by using the shadow of a vertical object to determine the direction of theKa’bah without requiring complex measuring tools.
