Pengaruh Kualitas Kehidupan Kerja, Komunikasi Kelompok, Dan Motivasi Kerja Terhadap Komitmen Kerja Guru SMK Kota Binjai

Abstract


The purpose of this study was to determine how the influence of variables under study, namely the quality of Work Life, Group Communication, teacher motivation to work commitment of teachers SMK Binjai. This research was carried out at 6 vocational schools in Binjai city, with the research period from December 2022 – Agustus 2023. The population of the study is all educators from 19 vocational high schools in the city of binjai, namely teachers who have the status of civil servants and Honorary educator certificate. The total population of the study was 357 people. While the research samples were taken from 6 schools that have PK criteria and have vocational competition achievements, namely in SMK Negeri 1 Binjai which amounted to 45 people, and in SMK Negeri 2 Binjai which amounted to 54 people, SMKs Tunas Pelita 13 people, SMKS PABA Binjai 24 people, SMKs Setia Budi 14 people, SMKS Putra Anda Binjai 37 people.  The sample consisted of 78 people. Instrument used to obtain data and information about the object to be studied is a questionnaire with likert scale approach. Data analysis techniques used are validity, reliability, t test and F test. The results of data analysis from this study indicate that there is an influence of teacher work quality on teacher work commitment, with a calculated t value: equal to 3.095 with a GIS value of 0.03 < 0.05. There is an effect of Group Communication on teacher work commitment with a calculated t value: 4.815 with a GIS value of 0.00 < 0.05. There is an influence of teacher work motivation on teacher work commitment with a calculated t value: 10.544 with a GIS value of 0.00 < 0.05. There is an influence between the quality of Work Life, Group Communication and work motivation of teachers together on teacher work commitment with a calculated F value: 119.097 with a GIS value of 0.00 < 0.05. The magnitude of the influence shown by the coefficient of determination R2 (R square) = 0.828 which means that the quality of Work Life, Group Communication and work motivation of teachers together give effect to the work commitment of teachers 82.8% and the remaining 17.2% is determined by other factors.
