HAMBATAN IMPLEMENTASI KONSEP CYBER NOTARY PADA PRAKTIK KENOTARIATAN

Abstract


The development of information technology has encouraged the transformation of legal services, including in the field of notary through the concept of Cyber Notary. This concept is expected to be able to increase the efficiency, effectiveness, and accessibility of legal services. However, in practice, the implementation of Cyber Notary in Indonesia still faces various obstacles. This study aims to analyze the obstacles in the implementation of Cyber Notary in notary practice. The research method used is normative legal research with a legislative and conceptual approach. The results of the study show that the main obstacles to the implementation of Cyber Notary include the absence of comprehensive legal arrangements, regulatory limitations related to the validity of electronic deeds, technical and security obstacles of electronic systems, and the readiness of notary human resources in adopting digital technology. Thus, regulatory updates and notary competency improvements are needed to support the optimal implementation of Cyber Notary in notary practice in Indonesia.
