Journal of Mathematics Education and Application (JMEA) is published by the Master's Program in Mathematics Education, Graduate School, Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara (UMSU). The journal is published three times a year, in February, June, and October. The Journal of Mathematics Education and Application (JMEA) has been accredited as a SINTA 4 scientific journal by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia since April 2023. The accreditation was reaffirmed under the Decree of the Director General of Research and Development Strengthening No. 286/DST/C3/HM.01.00/2026, issued on 7 April 2026.

Journal of Mathematics Education and Application (JMEA) ascepts and publishes original research articles and scholarly studies in the fields of Mathematics Education, Mathematical Applications, and related disciplines. The journal aims to disseminate high-quality research that contributes to the advancement of knowledge in mathematics education, applied mathematics, and technology, while supporting the development of human resources and promoting the progress of society and civilization.
