Ar-Rasyid: Jurnal Pendidikan Agama Islam is a national scholarly journal published by Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara (UMSU) through the Islamic Religious Education Study Program, Faculty of Islamic Studies. The journal was first published in 2021 and is dedicated to disseminating original scholarly research and academic discussions in the field of Islamic religious education.

The journal publishes research articles relevant to Islamic religious education, including teaching and learning, curriculum development, Islamic educational institutions, educational innovation, and other related areas. Manuscripts may be submitted in Indonesian, Arabic, or English, subject to the journal's author guidelines and editorial policies.

Ar-Rasyid: Jurnal Pendidikan Agama Islam is published twice a year, in May and November. The journal has been accredited at SINTA 4 by the relevant Indonesian journal accreditation authority. The editorial team is grateful to academics, researchers, educators, and other contributors whose scholarly work supports the development of knowledge in Islamic religious education.

All submitted manuscripts must be original works of the authors and must not have been previously published or be under consideration for publication in another journal or publication medium. Every submission is subject to editorial screening and the journal's peer-review process in accordance with its publication policies.
